About the Annual Fund

For 30 years, the NACS Foundation has served the college store industry by fostering and providing development opportunities to strengthen the vitality of our industry.

The NACS Foundation Annual Fund provides a sustainable revenue stream that allows it to carry on its mission of providing key educational programs, critical industry research, and professional development training and grants. As store budgets decrease and it becomes more difficult to cover the costs of these opportunities, Annual Fund dollars are there to support opportunities for learning and growth that may not otherwise be possible for NACS store members.

Throughout its history, the NACS Foundation has provided in excess of $2.5 million for research and educational programs; awarded grants to more than 2,000 college store personnel; and disbursed over $2 million to assist state and regional associations.

Philanthropic dollars at work…more specifically, support of the Annual Fund allows the NACS Foundation to:

·         Send 120+ college store buyers to CAMEX as well as CCRA Conferences and Xtreme.
·         Fund multi-week online courses that address in-store marketing, course materials management, digital content, and trends in campus retail.
·         Provide Student Watch™ research at an affordable price to industry members.
·         Underwrite educational programming at NACS seminars and conferences, as well as facilitated sessions at state and regional associations, at no charge to participants.
·         Advance the College Store of 2015 by providing tools and resources to proactively address the challenges and anticipated trends leading into 2015.
